Graduation Day!!!

Mathieu graduated form his language class today.  He has done a wonderful job this past year juggling school, pt, family and his relationship with God.  Oh and dealing with the ups and downs of a pregnant wife!  We are incredibly blessed to be here but ever so happy to see this chapter in our lives closed.  We can't wait to see what God has in store for us in Hawaii!

Happy Birth Day!!

Caleb Joseph was born at 8:12 am via repeat c-section.  He is 7 lbs 1 oz and 20 1/2 inches long.  Our longest baby so far!  He has some brown fuzz for hair.  C-secition went okay, my legs did not respond to the spinal I was given.  I was able to move my legs the whole surgery but fortunately was not able to feel anything.  I did have some issues with pain control afterwards but we were able to get that somewhat under control.

Caleb looks like his older brother Samuel in many ways, but we think he looks just like himself too. :)

Last day of count down to Mr Baby!

I forgot to take pictures at the beginning of our countdown to Mr. Baby, but here we are the end of our countdown!!  Tomorrow morning we are scheduled for a repeat c-section at 7:30am.  Please be praying for a safe delivery and quick healing.
Samuel and Daddy about to take down the last ring, Samuel got  to take it down since tonight was his last night to be the baby.

Taking down the ring.
Cheering and excitement!  (don't mind the "Settlers of Catan" set up in the background (:  )

Toy Story time please....

Remember when I told you that Samuel eats, breathes and sleeps "Toy Story"?  Well now he officially wears, drives and watches it too!  We've had lots of marathon days of the "Toy Story" movies and snuggles. Which at the moment I don't mind, because one of these days snuggles will not be so important to him.

Thanks a bunch to Tutu, for now we officially have 1,2 and 3 and he wears his shirts to match.

Happy 2nd Birthday, Samuel!!!

We purchased this cake from a famous cake shop in town, Layers.

Samuel is an all out dedicated "Toy Story" fan.  He eat, sleeps, breathes "Toy Story".  So we couldn't pass up the opportunity of having a "Toy Story" birthday party!

We attached his balloons to cars so he could walk through them.
We put names on the alien hats.

Samuel's Woody hat

Listening to everyone sing to him.
Blowing out his candles.  He did a great job!

Dancing to his singing card.
We are so glad that God gave you to us to raise.  We pray that we raise you in His ways and that you never stray from His path.  Thank you for being our ham of the family!   We love you!!

Learning about the potty...

Samuel loves to read and lately has really enjoyed "No More Diapers for Ducky!" Which is perfectly fine with us since we will be trying to potty train after our move.  This is a cute story about a ducky who wears diapers and his friend pig who does not.
Before his birthday party Samuel asked his Daddy to read this to him.  It was so sweet that he wanted to take a break to read his book.
