Pumpkin patch

We went to a pumpkin farm yesterday.  We had a great time learning the life stages of pumpkins, bees, how big pumpkins can get and jumping in a hay pit.  Homeschooling is more than just learning straight out of books, it's learning together as a family, hands on!
In the bee corn field

The inside of a beehive.  You can put your hand on it and feel the heat their buzzing  makes.

Nehemiah jumping into the hay pit.

Caleb getting ready to chomp on his Sophie.

Samuel climbing out of the hay pit, Rachel is right behind him.

Rachel getting ready to jump in.

The 2nd place pumpkin, we liked the way this one look compared to the first.

Learning about bees through the bee corn field.

Fresh corn!
