Here are my most recent craft projects.

I extended the older 3 children's baby quilts to fit their beds.  They got to pick out the fabric for the extended part.

Happy 5th Birthday, Natasha!

Our sweet little girl turned 5 today!! Natasha chose to go see "African Cats" for her birthday celebration and Auntie and Uncle J were able to join us.  We ate popcorn and fruit snacks for dinner.  Not the healthiest thing in the world but she got to choose what was for dinner.  :)  We also had a little celebration of cake and presents at home before the movie   We all had a wonderful time.

Easter 2011

Nehemiah
Samuel
Easter started out for us as a cold and rainy day, but that didn't keep us from celebrating Jesus is Alive!  The pregnancy part of me was not feeling well so we weren't able to get a family picture, but by afternoon I was feeling much better and we were able to hunt eggs and have Easter dinner!

Dyeing Easter eggs

This was our first year to dye Easter eggs.  It was so much fun for the children and the adults.  The little one's were eager to dip them in and take them out while the older two enjoyed letting them soak and get deeper in color.

We talked about what eggs and bunnies and flowers have to do with Easter and it opened up the conversation to Jesus dying on the cross for us.  It's an amazing thing to see the Holy Spirit working in our little one's hearts.  You see them processing what Jesus did and their thoughts and questions get a little deeper.  It's our desire to see them come to Christ early, so that their hearts are open and ready to serve Him.

A visit with the S Family

Nothing better than us all riding together!

With Mr N being deployed at the moment, his family came and spent their Spring Break with us.  We had an amazing time hiking, relaxing, and visiting the aquarium. Plus all the children got to spend a huge amount of time playing while us adults got in hours of catching up.  We pray that Mr N is safe and we can't wait for him to be home!  Oh and we miss you too!!
